Honey is a natural humectant. It pulls moisture from the air into your skin and holds it there, which is useful if you live somewhere that gets genuinely cold for half the year. The tallow base provides the fatty acids your skin recognises and absorbs. The honey adds a layer of hydration on top that pure tallow alone does not.

Honey has been used topically for centuries. It is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and holds moisture against the skin without clogging pores. Combined with tallow, you get a balm that both delivers fatty acids and retains hydration over time. People dealing with winter dryness, post-shave irritation, or mature skin that has thinned with age tend to get the most benefit from this formula. If pure tallow alone feels like it absorbs too quickly and does not last, the honey slows that process down and keeps your skin feeling comfortable longer.
Ingredients (INCI)
Adeps Bovis (Beef Tallow), Mel (Raw Honey)
Whipped texture, slightly thicker than the pure balm due to the honey content. The honey gives it a subtle amber tint and a faintly sweet scent that fades after application.
Shelf life: 12+ months unopened, 6-12 months after opening. The honey acts as a natural preservative. No refrigeration required.
Packaged in a 200ml glass jar. At daily facial use, expect 2-3 months per jar. If you are comparing this to the pure balm: choose this one for extra hydration in cold or dry climates, and the pure balm if you prefer fewer ingredients.
